Kristi Holland Logo Design

I met Kristi through instagram and instantly fell in love with her painted floral pieces. Once we met in person and I learned the story behind her business and what she was trying to accomplish with each piece, I hoped that she would want to work together to create a logo that could help her grow.

Kristi is the kindest person you'll meet, and so creative! She paints custom pet portraits and floral paintings, but she's known for her custom bouquet paintings. Instead of trying to keep your wedding bouquet after the wedding, because we all know that only 1 in 10 dried bouquets turn out looking good, she creates a painting of your bouquet on the day that it was the most beautiful! Her goal as a business is to freeze memories and those things that are most special to us in the form of a painting. And after praying over each and every one of her pieces, she wraps them up and sends them to their new home.

There is so much depth and story behind her pieces and that was the challenge behind creating a logo that encompassed her passion, her heart and her talent.

The goal was to create a simple, friendly, but meaningful logo that represented her and her client market well.  So we dove into key words and her seasonal personality.

Her keywords ended up being: custom, airy, light, floral, and cottage-y, and with her summer personality and spring undertone, we knew that her typography needed to have structure but still breathable and light, and her colors needed to be the calm muted colors of summer. We decided to go with a detailed but delicate floral illustration, based on her popular custom bouquets and floral paintings.

So without futher ado, here is what we came up with! Starting with her moodboard and ending at the final logo!

I am so beyond happy with the delicate but detailed, airy but structured logo that we designed together. And the color palette is just perfect for a cottage-y summer personality. I am so excited to have worked with Kristi and gotten a glimpse into her passion and her love for creating memories for others. Check out her work in the links below.
